I have had the privilege of being a State Farm Agent in Terre Haute for fifteen years and the honor to work with this great company for eighteen years. I have come to realize that what drives our desire to help our customers is the relationships we have built with our valued policyholders and community neighbors. Sometimes, when I reflect on how many folks I have sat with and just had a conversation, that have brought me stories of loss, claims, less than par service, or simply the price they have paid for those things, I feel confident that I have helped educate them on their true needs. The goal is to just help folks understand what it all means and what it specifically means to them. I want them to walk away with an understanding of what their hard-earned dollar is paying for and feel good about what they are getting for it. Taking the time to explain has allowed me to grow my business as a small business owner through simply understanding and learning about the customer sitting on the other side of my desk or the voice on the other end of the phone call.

As I work with and develop my team members, I attempt to create a culture of transparency, and that it is not about the "sale", but all about the relationship both with our customers and with each other. I simply love leading a team and building strong relationships with them and with our policyholders, whom many we call our family.
